Orders & MOQ
What is the minimum order quantity for custom tin boxes?+
MOQ depends on whether the mold already exists. With our 8000+ ready-made molds, MOQ is low and there is no tooling fee. For brand-new custom molds, a higher quantity is needed to cover tooling cost.
Can I order samples before bulk production?+
Yes, samples are strongly recommended. Samples from existing molds typically ship within 7–15 days so you can verify print, fit and seal before committing to volume.
Do you accept small orders for startups?+
Yes. Ready-made molds allow small first batches for market testing, and you can scale up with repeat orders at improving unit prices without changing suppliers.
How do I get a quotation?+
Send your target size, quantity and artwork (or use our AI packaging design tool to create a mockup first). Our team will match the nearest mold and quote within one business day.
Production & Sampling
How long does tin packaging production take?+
Sampling from existing molds takes 7–15 days. Bulk production generally follows in 15–30 days depending on quantity and finishing complexity. Custom-mold tooling adds 20–30 days up front.
Are the tins food-safe?+
Yes, food-grade tinplate with protective inner coating is standard. We can provide food-contact compliance documentation for your market.
Can you develop a custom mold for my size?+
Yes. If no existing mold fits, our engineering team develops custom tooling in about 20–30 days, referencing the existing mold library to control cost.
Do you offer white-label or OEM packaging?+
Yes, we support OEM/OEM-style projects — your brand on our molds, with printing, finishing and export packing handled end to end.
Printing & Design
What printing options are available for tin packaging?+
We support offset (litho) printing, hot stamping (gold/silver foil), embossing, debossing, matte/gloss varnish and spot UV, with Pantone color matching.
Can you print my logo and artwork?+
Yes. Provide print-ready artwork with bleed, or let our design team prepare it. AI-assisted mockups help you approve the design before printing.
How does the AI packaging design tool work?+
Describe your packaging idea or upload an image, and our AI generates packaging mockups in seconds — great for exploring design directions before committing to printing.
Can I use my own packaging designer’s files?+
Yes, we accept files from any designer as long as they are print-ready (proper resolution, bleed and color profile). We also help convert them for metal printing.
Shipping & Compliance
Do you ship worldwide?+
Yes. We ship globally by sea and air freight, with export-grade carton packing to prevent dents. Documentation is handled by our export team.
How are the tins packed to avoid damage?+
Tins are packed with inner partitions and export-grade cartons. Fragile products get additional cushioning on request.
Are tin boxes recyclable?+
Yes, tinplate is fully recyclable, which is one of the reasons metal packaging is preferred by sustainability-focused brands.
What compliance documents can you provide?+
Food-contact material declarations, factory registration and product test reports are available on request for your market compliance review.
